Born 1946 in Olten, lives as free lance visual artist in Solothurn.
Of great influence on his work were his sojourns in India, Japan and China. In recent times he has concentrated his expeditions on North-Africa and the different regions with rock art in the Sahara.
Many of his works have been exhibited in musems in Switzerland and abroad.
